Records include accounts of money received by Governor Edward Cornwallis, 1749-1750; disbursements to officers and other army staff, 1749-1750; accounts of settlers and laborers provisioned at Halifax, 1749-1751; lists of Colonel Hopson's eight companies of Rangers victualled at Halifax, Chignecto, and Annapolis Royal, 1752-1755; and lists of foreigners, artificers, and others victualled at Lunenberg, 1753-1756. Documents are signed by P. T. Hopson, R. Bulkley, Horatio Gates, Charles Lawrence, and others.
